pet peeve | 2 way tie between: Our Lady of Mercy, Park Ridge, NJ for not having enough parking space to accommodate all of those attending the 5pm Christmas Mass tonite because i got caught in a traffic jam while they closed off half a major street in this town to allow parishoners to park on it (and the SUV behind me was some person who goes in for too much self-expression with his or her horn) and the novelty of the onroad parking is that in this town you cannot even leave your car parked outside your house on the street without getting permission from the police, but for OLM and people attending their yearly church service, anything is possible! and second, i am annoyed that i could not find any SHAKIRA e-mail/e-greeting holiday cards to send to people |
obsession du jour | devise a michelle rodriquez exercise program based on viewing girlfight |
to do | consider boxing as fitness but definitely NOT as a participatory sport |
ponder | the hypothalamus |
sports team du jour | i've reached a really despicable low--i actually watched some of the nba developmental league on tv today |
sounds | kurtis blows christmas rap |
film | girlfight (which was pretty damn good despite its obvious flaws) and stranger on a train (which was great for the out of control carousel scene) |
tv | see sports teams |
book | catching up on the new yorkers letter from afghanistan installments |
objet d'art on display somewhere | i haven't been to anything in a week or so but i just realized i'd like to see the rock n roll hall of fame some day |
food | bagels |
beverage | diet coke |
people | should stagger their once a year church attending so as to avoid a log jam at one particular time of a year |
random additions or subtractions from any or all of the above | i guess i got my info incorrect, now i am reading that the man who tried to set his sneaker on fire had a british passport and not a belgian passport, so that rules out the belgian jokes, bummer |
many thanks to my friend at Nerdslut for allowing me to rip her off
and to the starmeister for telling frontpage is not scary
